About Henan

Henan has become the topic of discussion in media and policy discussions due to the dramatic outbreak of the AIDS virus resulting from unhygienic blood collecting techniques in Henan's inner villages.  Present statistics state that China is on the threshold of an unprecedented explosion of the AIDS epidemic. If this debilitating and fatal disease is overlooked, infection could overwhelm the entire country.  The fight to stop the spread of AIDS must have a voice through collaboration with the general public as well as the government officials elected to uphold the sanctity of human rights.
